
BY THE BEAT consists of four members: Kaelix Debonair, Seible, Freodore and Zeal Ginjoka. They debuted in March of 2025 as a group in NIJISANJI EN, releasing a group single called “Satellite”. Each member has their own talents, charms and specialties which have attracted a wide audience consisting of current fans, new fans and even bringing back old fans. Kaelix is bright and bubbly, allowing fans who are frequently active in online spaces to be able to relate with his energy. Seible often streams first-person shooter games such as Apex Legends, attracting people who have the same interest. Freodore is down to earth and often plays games with a darker edge, and Zeal has a passion for music, creating many of his own original songs such as his debut album, “ZEALOUS”. With how fast they rose to popularity in the VTuber community, they were being included in brand collaborations in the first few months after debut.
NIJISANJI EN, which BY THE BEAT is a part of, is an overseas project by ANYCOLOR Inc. ANYCOLOR Inc. is an entertainment startup from Japan that specializes in the Virtual YouTuber or Virtual Liver community, also known as VTubers. The main activities these streamers do is livestreaming on YouTube as well as creating fun and new content for their audiences to enjoy. Some of this content includes gaming livestreams, chatting streams and karaoke streams. Every streamer, or Liver, debuts in groups that are known as waves. BY THE BEAT is NIJISANJI EN’s eleventh wave, the latest wave to join the roster.

BY THE BEAT’s success did not stop at brand collaborations. Right after their one-year anniversary, ANYCOLOR revealed that BY THE BEAT had signed with Virgin Music Group, a division under Universal Music Group. At first glance, it may not seem like a big deal, especially to people who are not familiar with Virgin Music Group. To give a scale, Virgin Music Group has partnered with famous figures which includes a few K-Pop groups such as BTS and Twice, and other musicians such as Beabadoobee and Joji. With the partnership with Virgin Music Group came a new single from BY THE BEAT, which is called “Double Vision” that was released in March 2026.
“Double Vision” is a song that incorporates electro-house rhythms alongside rap and vocals, as stated by Universal Music Japan. The inspiration of the song was the fans of the members, who are a crucial element to their activities in NIJISANJI EN, and comparing the fans to chromatic aberration. The mixing of the song blends the voices of the members together really well, despite the difference in the members’ usual singing styles. The production team behind the single features Lauren Kaori, who has written many songs for J-Pop and K-Pop acts, one of which is the Japanese version of “Starry Night” by Mamamoo.
The partnership between BY THE BEAT and Virgin Music Group has defined NIJISANJI EN’s eleventh wave as the ‘music’ wave. While other Livers in the company will continue to produce their own song covers and original songs, BY THE BEAT is now primarily focused on producing original music as an entire wave, which would be akin to a boy band. At the time of this article being written, there is already a new single being produced. The company has even created a new group YouTube channel for BY THE BEAT, which the members use for any future original songs or song covers.
While the VTuber industry is indeed growing, fans never expected this collaboration. Many people were excited about the collaboration for a multitude of reasons. One, it was exciting news to know that the members of BY THE BEAT are going to keep producing more songs. Two, it shows that fans that other Livers or even future Livers that are planning to join the company and NIJISANJI EN have greater opportunities to display their creativity in the ways that they want to. ANYCOLOR Inc. has always portrayed themselves as a company that supports the creative endeavors of their Livers to the best of their abilities, and this partnership supports that claim. Fans are excited to see if there will be any waves in the future that will also have a specialization, whether it was a specialization in music or anything else. The announcement of a partnership with such a huge music production company has also encouraged people who may have wanted to join NIJISANJI EN to audition for the company in order to fulfill their creative dreams with the support of an organization.
Currently, BY THE BEAT is preparing for their major label debut in 2027. With each wave confirmed to get a 3D debut where the Livers will get 3D models, the members of BY THE BEAT would one day be able to perform on stage in front of an audience. Many fans of NIJISANJI EN look forward to the day where they are able to sing and dance on a big stage, myself included.
