In my opinion I think the robots were amazing to watch but I felt something was missing. The Spring Gala main theme is about reunion and shared our identity. Robots can copy human actions, but they cannot replace human emotion. If machines take over the stage, the Gala may lose its most important thing.
This raises a bigger question: should cultural events focus more on innovation or tradition? I believe the answer is always has two sides. Technology can enrich performance, but it should not replace human artistic quality. Also, robots can join the Gala, but they should be supporting actors but not become the main stars.
